Thanks for the reply John.
Unfortunately this still does not rectify the problem as the head unit still reads anything up to 30hPA below the pressure given by the met office / RAF base.
I understand that the software allows a slight variation but if the head is showing such a low reading and the software can't compensate then wouldn't it be simpler to just set the head at the correct pressure and then recalibrate? If not then what is the point in having a head unit that can't accurately read the pressure within the parameters set within the software?
