Guidance required please.

Is it possible to map a track circuit using aim analysis s/w from an ebox attached to the mychron4. I've seen pics of track layouts on the web which show the layout of the track and the acceleration/braking points. But...I'm not sure exactly how they are produced.
I've had some conflicting info: -

I've been advised that you can map a circuit using the accelerometer and the wheel speed sensor. However, I've also heard that you can only do circuit mapping using the new GPS 5 addition.

Help please....
