for rubber seals that have lost shape, put them in a cup of boiling hot water. The rubber 9/10 will reform back into its original moulded shape. Then re fit without sealer. Maybe very light grease.
Add tea bag after for a deserved refreashing break from a hard days toil.
Not to be done on o rings or if the seal is available at a cost of 20p.
