Hi, I am racing to a budget currently and have an above spec 2007 engine, which is now due a rebuild.

I am intrested to know if any of you are running an 07/barel engine competitivley in MSA club championship racing and is it realistic to target front running pace and results against the 09 / 10 versions.

I ran 2010 engine recently at my last meeting and foud that the quick lap times came so much more easily and was much more forgiving. For example if I made a small mistake, the lap time was still good.

Unfortunatley I can't afford 2010 engine.
