Good advice but...be careful.
It can be quite hard to change the rear-ride height quickly on a kart and the quick change is needed simply becuase conditions change quickly..... By the time you've raised the ride heights for the next heat.... it's stopped raining!
One quick solution is to fit a rubber type cushion in the seat, this raises the DRIVER'S height and that guves similar effects to raising the ride height.
Secondly, the usual advice is to move some weight forward in the wet. That can be 'assisted' by a move which also raises the 'driver-height'. So..... before next meeting, remove both side bolts from his seat (NOT the ones UNDER the seat) and LOOSEN the ones under the seat. Rotate the seat forward and UP so that the seat-holes are now 1 or 2 inches above their previous mounting points and drill an ADDITIONAL pair of holes so that you can fit the seat in that new position. That will take his weight forward and up. Obviuously, do up the bolts SAFELY again once the seat is in position!
It's easier to move those two bolts in a 'hurry' than it is to reset your ride heights.
The rubber cusion is even EASIER!
The 'rainmeister' from Tillet is supposed to do this..... it just loks abit 'thin, to me.... but what do I know?
