....where the money comes from for certain 'high profile' jollies that most of us mere minions can't possibly afford to participate in.

And how.

Only the big team/motorhome people can do it.

It doesn't come down to talent but wallets, and that doesn't seem right, but you have no one to help change things as you are split and divided and separated at each juncture.

Money is tight for most people thanks to that to$$pot Gordon Brown and the rest of his dire excuses for single brained celled tvvats, we are lucky to be holding our own with numbers and considering the economic climate the LC wasn't too bad.

At least the drivers who won went home with some great prizes for their support and they were bigger prizes that the big events that are held for 'top' drivers who can afford 'top' events.

But then we give it all back and more to the drivers who support us.

We didn't need sniffers or fuel testing or Uniprix because nobody cheated. Well there was one but that was just so silly I won't even expose it, 2nd time too and that meant they came nowhere anyway. you know who you are:)

Hopefully the climate will have eased by next year and we can get it back on track.

Karting needs a radical overhaul and it needs it very soon as the loss path is a downward exponetial curve finalising at 0_______________0

It may be that it needs to become independant unless people start listening and cooperating with the drivers.

Having looked at the entry levels under non msa competition, it would seem that poor Joe Soap is having to cut his cloth and compete at a financial level that he can afford with grid numbers that give him a good days racing at a reasonable price.

If you break down your weekends outlay, the tyre is the biggest outlay if you're racing locally.

Reduce that to a realistic non 'you've been well wedgied' level and the karter could be persuaded to return before he flogs his gear for a deflated price due to a flooded market.

Australian karting anyone?
