Your engine may not actually be leaking. Sometimes you fine oil runs up the studs and out of the gap between where the two faces meet and the stud protrudes. Hard to explain but if you try lapping the head you should be able to see straight away if its not sealing by the appearence of the lapping paste. Otherwise its more than likely oil just running up the studs and nothing to worry about. Another thing to check is the liner pin which is located on the ignition side between some of the fins on the barrell. This can sometimes leak when an old barrell is extremed due to the pin hole being drilled too deep originally.
