I was looking at some photos that were posted in the earlier thread and noticed that the "tube insert" that was included in "propoer" TKM chassis was not eveident in the photo.

If I had a Storm, the first thing I would do is use an insert. These were allowed as mods in the earlier TKM regs when some original chassis didn't have them and they started cracking !! - sounds familiar ?

(ps. I do think that the welding on some of the Storm chassis is terrible and probably contributes (HAZ etc) to some of the cracks)
