Rotax engine - fiched against unfiched

1. Can someone please explain the differnece between rebuilt fiched engines against unfiched ones - in particular Rotax FR125. I've read about people wanting to test one against the other and being a newby, wondered exactly what the difference is and what advantage is gained.

2. If we have a rebuilt Ogden engine, how can we tell if its fiched or not - cant see anything on the log book
