"You'll never win anything"
"No offence, but you talk rubbish"
"In my view you've wasted your money"
Paraphrased, but there are plenty more if I bother to look.
Trying to think of a positive or helpful one you ever came up with... Nope, there wasn't one, but still you think I should be thanking you. Well for the last time, thanks!
I know you think I'm particularly thick, but why would I be so stupid as to run with different track widths when trying to compare new wheels and hubs with what I have had so far? I have got sufficient brains to operate a tape measure and make sure everything was the same. I even went to the extent of making sure I was using tyres of similar age on both sets of rims, and yes, with the same cold pressures in both sets initially.
I've never told anyone how they should do anything, all I've done is relayed the experience of using advice offered on this notice board. And yes, OK, I get verbose about engineering of race vehicles, but I've been doing it a while and I find it hard not respond to something that goes a long way against my intuition.
I'll continue to get a little quicker every race meeting, but I won't win anything, I'll just enjoy learning to play a new game. You'll continue to rack up lap records and win races. But if you end up at the same race meeting as me PLEASE don't introduce yourself, it would ruin my day. This really is the last post I'm putting in a thread you've contributed to, in 16 years of internet use I've not come across anyone so difficult to like.
