Ian,
I don't know what more to say, it's like talking to someone religious. I can't prove god doesn't exist, therefore he exists. I can't prove that the ideal braking manoeuver doesn't involve locking the back wheel and letting it return to road speed at 50 Hz, therefore the ideal braking manoeuver involves locking the back wheels and modulating the pressure at 50 Hz. It won't even happen at 10 Hz.
You know this from years of practise and experience, but you don't actually have a way of genuinely knowing it's what's happening.
This started as a debate about whether TAG clutches disengages on the brakes. I'm happy from the video of someone driving a DD engined kart quickly that one can get around without the clutch disengaging on a good lap. There is one lockup that I know would disengage the clutch, but it appears to be from a mistake rather than intended lock up.
Sorry, I'm out of the loop on this until I can get some data, but even if I do, you'll find a reason why it's not what really happens. All a bit pointless from there on in.
Liam
