I have never done one for the (accursed!) Walbro although we have run them.... I HATE them with a VENGEANCE!

They are actually pretty simple! Keep them SCRUPULOUSLY CLEAN and do it, at LEAST, every day that you use them! Filter the fuel BEFORE putting it in the tank. Make sure the tank is SPOTLESS! Don't use a paper filter IN the fuel line! Find carb setting that you like (around 2.25 on low jet and anything around 0 to .5 on the high). Pop off around 7 to 9.

And keep the fuel CLEAN!

and did I mention filtering the fuel....?

.....and rebuild the carb with new gasket set REGULARLY

Ian

P.S. Don't forget to clean the carb..... and keep the fuel clean..... and rebuild, and clean..... and so on!

Ohhh..... and buy new gaskets and keep the fuel clean!

..... did I mention rebuild and clean fuel.....?
