Any engine converts fuel into power, oil in the fuel lubricates the bearings and piston.

So you need the best compromise to maintain engine life and performance.

Start rich and then go lean monitoring the piston crown and exhaust header.

Use the stopwatch and driver feedback to judge optimum performance and when you get there record needle clip, mainjet and air density - simples!
