Yeah mine just has normal fuel hose there.

Not 100% sure what it's for, it goes into the bottom of the fuel pump, I think it uses a 'pulse' of air from the exhaust stroke of the engine to drive the pump.

I may well be about to be corrected by someone with more knowledge.
