My prior post mistakenly stated that the Jedi was built around the 80's. What I meant to say was that the front axle regs changed around the eighties.
The Jedi does not need a plumbed in system because it was built prior to another certain date. Basically, it is classed as Historic so many rules don't apply (even though it was built for hillclimbing, not circuit racing). The extinguisher in a Jedi is under the drivers legs and can only be operated by the driver if he gets out of the car. At least, this was the case when it was Formula 600 10-15 years ago.
I knew Radicals were agricultural but I hadn't looked at one closely enough to realise they also flout the axle centre-line rules.
