Agree that it would not make things perfect but at least if they start in good condition and at the correct height/angle it should improve things. Look at the post from Scott about the incident with JTKM at Shenington copied below. Motorsport is dangerous but it seems with the Zip nose cone that everyone wants someone else to deal with it.

Coming out of the first hair-pin on first racing lap 2 karts in about 4th and 5th place torched and spun coming out of the corner. They both stopped blocking the track. My son then braked to miss them. He was hit from behind spun around and at least 2 karts went over his kart. One landed on top from the pile up that followed. I think around 15+ karts crashed. It was hard to see myself but thats what my son said.
Jake Walker was trapped in kart as the steering colum snapped and the wheel came into his chest. He is very lucky to only have small cuts on legs. The fuel tank leaked over his suit but we removed the suit and he is ok.
