just like to say a big, big thank you to the people who have helped me get prepared for my first MSA race and also the people who helped me on the day.
A special thanks to Steve ogden and his team and also Tom @ Prosport, who have treated me with kids gloves with my (constant) novice questions and sometimes faintly ridiculous assumptions. Its is a credit to both companies that they still put so much into grass roots when there reputations all already set within the halls of Karting.
I would also like to thank Paul who was with The Kart shop at Buckmore for taking time out from preparing his own racers to again help and advise on what was an extremely busy race day (and also pointing out that the possible reason for my lack of grip at the front in the wet is that i had the wheels on the wrong way around DOH!!). The guys at PFI were as helpful as usual and again were invaluable in dragging me kicking and screaming through my first MSA race day.
Well didnt come last, might have had a minor incident or 3 and had an absolutely MEGA day. Got stuck in at the first conrners and got left after 3 or 4 laps ish.
LOVED IT!!!!
And mostly thanks to the missus, who comes along, doesnt moan and makes sure i get to the line on time...and for that i love her even more than racing!!
Once again, thanks to all who helped..
.apart from VEGA or the EU whichever you wish to blame.. 6 months trying to sort what does what and when and why on the rear of the kart..and now clueless again...!!!BUMMER :-)
