That statement is wrong. You CAN modify an old chassis. You just have to remove the TKM plate and call it a different name on the entrylist and scrutineering card (you could call it a Trax if you want). As long as it complies with Blue book and Class regs you're OK. (ps this was confirmed by PK at the last S1 round)
