Ian makes some very good points. We run most of our time with 1 engine. We have a 'spare' but that's just incase I blow my other engine. We tend to use the same carb and just tweek that.
Keep it simple. You add to many potential changes and you will get lost. If you want to get up thr front fast. Sell your other motor and buy some tuition from evenflow. Rotax's are so reliable you really can do without a spare. Iv raced for 5 years and only had 2 blow ups. Thatsracing on average 2 times a month.

May seem odd selling an asset like an engine but hay i bet terrence dove can find you more time than even thr best rotax's engine in the world!
