Can you explain that...... if they come on LATER.... doesn't that imply that they are 'slow' to warm up.....? Wouldn;t THAT imply that they are more 'absorbant' of heat as the SAME amount of heat should be being developed by the tyres on BOTH types of wheels? It just seems that they keep the tyres cooler for longer......?

How can you be SURE those effects aren't JUST because the Mag wheels are STIFFER than your 'other wheels' and that just choosing a STIFFER AliAlloy Wheel would have given EXACTLY the same effect?

I am NOT saying 'you are WRONG'; I'd just like to know how you KNOW!
