yea you can respray it. i resprayed one of my rads (i race in kz) as it looked a bit tatty. a nice coat of black paint and it looked mint :D

dunno if theres a "as supplied by rotax" rule but im sure that wouldn't affect painting it, especially as your painting it the original colour.
