Do a search on here as i asked the same question a few months ago... basically the sprocket side of the engine is easy as long as you refit making sure its nice and square .. the ignition side i think although you can do it you need a few special tools so i didn't bother with that side will just wait and have done with the rebuild ... if your going to be doing a lot of your own maintenance then it may be Worth the outlay for tools etc
