certainly is for the old clutch. it's a plate with a couple of pegs on it as I remeber. You put it in a vice and drop your cover on it. You still need a large socket (27mm?? though)The new clutch has no holes in the clutch cover/plate so I'm not sure how a tool would work here. hope thats of some help!
