The T8 has exactly the problem you listed; it's the wrong shape for the chassis at the front. I fitted a T8 last year and the handling was dreadful, as it's impossible to get the seat where you want it.

The T10 and T11 are a different shape specifically designed for the JKH style of chassis mounting.
