Simon, an analagy to your question could be what's the best food to eat. You'll probably get as many different answers here as responses.

Your best option is to get along to the next race meeting at PFi, look at the classes and numbers there and chat to the people involved... then form an opinion on what you'd like to do.

My opinion ? Rotax Max is the most pervasive class in this country and at club level the better racers and biggest grids are by and large there. I would recommend that.
