I nearly entered KF3 with my son this year but was put off by the costs quoted by the big teams. I thought without their experience and support we would be toast.
I watched the racing this weekend with interest and noticed Whitehead, Sowery and Gill were able to beat most of the MBR drivers, a Zip driver and a Fusion driver. All 3 seemed to be run on a dad and lad basis without the top engines.
My question is were they lucky (it didn't look like it to me), or are good drivers able to beat rich drivers in this formula.
I am thinking of a guest drive for my son and wondered whether we could achieve what the three above achieved without being in an expensive awning.
