General carb setting is 1+1/2 1+1/2look for 60 degrees water temp,take out reed block,hold up to light ,no light should pass through were petals touch the holder,BR10EG plug,200ml Castrol 747 t0 5 litres of Shell super unleaded,a brand new carb may still require kitting,depends how long stood so new does not necess mean carb still not prob test with a cadet carb tester to see if holding,if running a restrictor ttry testing without,and do the pulse holes in the gasket line up with carb/engine /restrictor holes,should be red ones
