There is no pleasing some people.I am no fan of rotax to say the least,but the way I see it all the upgrades so far have been to improve the engine.you don't have to buy them as far as i know only the 2009 barrel has improved performance The trouble is when anything new is brought out there is always some num scull who has found 2ths with it.Just be thank full that your in a class where rotax do watch what is going on,you could be in a kf class where you have to buy a new engine every other week.Rotax is not perfect by any standard.But from someone who has been involved in karting for over 30years its as good as it gets at the moment.
