If you are getting 17 seat stays to the Magwheel it has little to do with the carburization rate. Your problem is coniometric flex of the inboard dynametric mountings on the axle resolution. In hard pressure areas this can be cured by taking up the slack with a goniometer adjusted to compensate for the local climactic conditions.

On a Max you can stabilize the inflow volumetric rate by applying micro-vortilons to the internal annular of the carb - noisebox interface providing the vertical amplitude is not more than one half wavelength.

Smoothing of the fuel \air ratio can be attained by adding a long chain polymerised volatile to the fuel component and then setting it up using the appropriate software adjusted for the idealised condition using a swag-compensator. John may be able to provide further details.

After that it's easy and you ought to generate a 21 stub harmonic in your floor tray which could increase your performance by at least as much as you would expect.

It is well worth the effort and with the assistance of the Rotax 912S power unit should see you passing your rivals with ease. You might find the occasional scrutineer might question some parts of this practise but there doesn't seem to be any specific objection to testing it.

Does that help?
