It has a vry good technical section and a complete rebuild kit is quite cheap and very easy to do, you just have to make sure that it is correctly sealed and pop off is set right afterwards. The kit are widely available, i get mine from spellfame and buy a few at once cos it works out cheaper.
I very much doubt a new carb is required. You can always take it to your local track on a race weekend and you'll probably find someone who will rebuild it for you for the price of a coffee.
