I used to race Junior Yamaha in 2000-2001 and loved the class. Had one engine go down in the two seasons I raced in the class, and rebuild times were comparable to Junior TKM, a touch longer as I recall.

Performance was fairly similar, what Yamaha lacked in straight line speed to the TKM it more than made up for in cornering speed.

But as usual, a certain Mr H killed it off when he wasn't making as much profit as he wanted :-(
