Ballhatchet there is no advantage having an original extreme. When Tal-ko first brought out the extreme in 04, all they would have done is bore out the existing stock from 100cc. The best engine that I know of that my builder has dealt with and built was extremed this year from a junior. As for mismatched parts I don't understand what your talking about there, as long as they were matched fieche-wise its fine. I wouldn't be suprised if tal-ko still machine the barrels from a pre-junior size anyway. Don't waste your time chasing that, chances are the head and barrel on the engine has been changed since original anyway. Like I said the best engine I know of, and this is from a top super 1 team was extreme in 09 from a junior spec.
