Glad you posted there, Peter!...a slip of the digit and didn't read through it before posting.....should have read 2.8mm. I don't think the 334A will limit the power much....it had a nicely shaped venturi that allowed my MV21 to hit 20,000rpm. I don't think the FF99 should be revved to much more than 15,000rpm so I would expect it to give decent performance.
