If you cant get a 168, use the 165, its not going to make a huge difference.

Learn to drive the carb, the throttle on a max isn't an on/off switch. if you floor the throttle out of hairpins the engine will hesitate, its better to feed the throttle in smoothly.

Keep an eye on the engine temperature, try and get it above 45 degrees before you start to tank it.
