its funny,i agree, half a measure doesnt cut it in my opinion,i wasnt in favour of it in the first place but if you are going to use CIK chassis then do it properly with the caster camber,i agree with leaving out the torsion bars though.one other little adjustment not many people have icked up on is the rear of the chassis can have the ride height changed now which will mean the drilling of holes for TKM chassis
one thing i picked up on whilst speaking to tal-ko,jkh and klassen at kartmania was the torsion bars
i was seeking advice on my cracked chassis which had been welded up,i wanted to maybe put a collar on the outside but was told by tal-ko that this would be seen as a TORSION DEVICE (but not if it was on the inside interestingly),this surprised me somewhat and i spoke to JKH who were dubious about the "ruling" and advised i go to klassen,he agreed with tal-ko's judgement and agreed when i pointed out that under current rules a REAL torsion bar could be welded to the chassis to do its job but i could reinforce a repair to my chassis which was madness.I don't want to put words into his mouth but the impression i got was that a clarification was needed
seems a clarification on caster/camber may also be needed
