Well....a full tank of fuel won't have just vanished! If it had overfowed onto the floor, it would have evaporated and left the oil behind, which you would have seen. Therefore, it sounds like it may have gone into the engine - but I don't think an engine crankcase volume would be anywhere near big enough to hold it all. Perhaps its filled the exhaust pipe.
