Yes, I understand there may be a safety issue. Thats why each club has lots of signs saying Motorsport can be dangerous.

The scruts are there to police safety issues why does the MSA just not tell them to inspect each chassis protector and get it replaced if they are not happy - simple!

"My current thinking is to use the current chassis then quit the sport and look at bottom end car racing which is rapidly looking cheaper."

Now you were talking a lot of sense up until you made that statement!
