I am with your Alan.

We run a Tony and have just brought a brand new chassis for next year. Now contemplating selling it before we even use it.

This year we had chassis protectors on and were told to change the 2 piece to a single piece. Now we are told to loose all together.

Yes, I understand there may be a safety issue. Thats why each club has lots of signs saying Motorsport can be dangerous.

My current thinking is to use the current chassis then quit the sport and look at bottom end car racing which is rapidly looking cheaper.
