I won't mention his name in case the facts are wrong but I am almost certain that there is at least one former (junior) driver who is currently unable to race because of a similar condition.

I'm also no medical expert and therefore not sure if there are milder forms of epilepsy that would still allow you to compete but I'd be extremely surprised if that were the case.

If someone did have a condition that would prevent them from racing but chose not to disclose it would be playing russian roulette with themselves and others.
