hi thanks for your replys. i use ogden to rebuild my engines so i have a good engine rebilder its just as the hours are now mounting up i was wondering wen i should get it done but now i have a clearer picture. however what i cant understand is from what you have said i shudnt exeed like 25-30 hours but why is it that rotax reccomend 50 hours. dosnt make any sense if they seize up after 30. ps - i might just try my luck anyway cos im into possibly my last year in karting next year so no point putting more money into it. bearing in mind its only bottom end which has done 20 hours as top end has recently had an 09 barrel put on it therefore not many hours yet. unless i should just get bottom end done. any ideas on how much that would cost? sorry for long messege.
