well i was talking to a racer at hooton a few meetings ago, he only races at hooton and 3s and is spending about 10k a year on tyres, engine rebuilds etc....now i dont know if thats jus way more than he needs to spend or if its a realistic budget...but either way its bloody expensive!...following on from another thread, i was on the phone with a gearbox racer yesterday, he used to race in rotax and he said he spends far less money racing 125 gearbox karts on the long curcuits than he ever did in rotax...
