I’m thinking of starting in this sport and done what most people suggest.

"Go to the tracks where you might race and talk to the racers and get an idea and feel for the sport"

And most of the chat was regarding cheating in rotax max class (the class I am thinking of) and all these upgrades every so often costing hundreds.

And on forums regarding this cheating it seems like everyone is hiding behind closed doors.

Could I just say as a newcomer wouldn’t it be better to tell all about these so called cheats that way honest people can report them.

Surely this would clean up the sport???

As I say I have been looking and chatting to racers the last 2 months and before I take the plunge would be nice to know how frequent this cheating is.

I don’t want to spend a lot of money only to find I have to join them just to win.

Hope you guys see where I am coming from.
