We tried a specially made 30mm axle made from softer material than any others on the market. After 3 sessions on a hot day with loads of rubber down we took it out. Verdict NOT ENOUGH REAR GRIP.It was a hot day with a fair amount of rubber down. Now the general opinion is a 50mm axle will lose grip over a 30mm then with the maxxis tyres it may not work. You may have to add grip to the Kart another way to compensate the 50 mm axle. But lets face it they do look good. BUT not as good as finishing 1st !
