Running a TKM 4S using a CIK chassis , we ran 40mm axle in wet/ or low grip tracks . Then run a 50mm axle in grippy / hot conditions.
Didn't take long to swap a complete axle as we had then built up ready to go.

The 50mm gave less grip so released better in hot conditions or grippy tracks.

The rules still allow wheels to be inside the pods with wets regardless of the chassis in TKM.
