its recommending (based on standard settings) that i start in the 170s... i think that should be pretty safe :)

john,

is the main jet factor a function of all the parameters (ie. nozzle, idle, needle, as well as engine itself), or is it fairly static for engine type? in your experience, how much would it vary from one k9 to the next?

btw, the carb is presently set with K22, 55 idle, DQ267 and 4g floats.
