There are a number of castor based oils which are suitable for TKM. Semi or full synthetic are not recommended. we raced exclusively on Shell M in Senior and Extreme at club & S1 with no issues. There is a synthetic Shell oil (Shell X, I think),which comes in the same colour bottle - almost made that mistake!
