well the tkm manual says 310 oil....250 is really low and i wouldnt go that low. i use 280 oil. carb settings are 2 and a quarter on the low jet and between a quarter and an eigth on the high jet. set the pop off at about 12 and it should hold around 7. next time make sure your fuel tank is full and make sure your lines/filters arent blocked.

also whens the last time you rebuilt your carb>??
