Hi,
I've had a problem with my TKM Walbro carb where the paddle arm snapped at the joint between the pivot and the part of the paddle that attaches to the needle valve.
This has happened on 2 separate occassions (I think it was the same carb each time, but cant be certain) and the first time I thought it was just bad luck but now that it has happened again I think there must be a problem. I had replaced the gaskets and diaphragms the day before and the pop off was set correctly. The engine was running fine before it broke and the paddle had probably only had about 3-4hrs of running.
Is this a common problem? If so is there a solution?
I dont know if this is a factor but I do have a bottom feed fuel tank (which was fitted when i bought the kart) so when the tank is full the fuel is under a small amount of pressure, but I would be surprised if this was enough pressure to cause this problem.
Any ideas??
Many thanks.
