Hi

You need to be 85kg minimum to race in Max 177. This can include your helmet, suit etc and a plug spanner, so if you're 80kg in the buff, you'll be nip and tuck for that class.
I run a Tony EVS which has a few lighter parts and a small tank and it weighs in about 83kgs, so you are probably not far from either class. You could always eat more pies like the rest of us!
How long have you been out for? I find that 177 attracts the more mature driver and you may be able to finish the day with slightly less damage.
And I did say may....
