..you are correct.

The BT95 has a 24mm carb and the settings are different to a BT82.

You say you have tried another carb but was it the same model?

It could be that both carbs are faulty.

Have you stripped and cleaned them?

The filter in the carb gets clogged easily and will cause endless problems.

If there is fuel in the crankcase it will evaporate if you leave the plug out with the piston at the bottom of its stroke.
